GD51-KZFS Total Radiation Sensor IoT TransmitterDetailed information:
GD51-KZFSTotal radiation sensor IoT transmitter
Total radiation refers to the sum of direct solar radiation and sky radiation received by the horizontal surface. Its value depends on factors such as solar altitude angle, atmospheric transparency, altitude, cloud conditions, etc. Solar radiation passes through the atmosphere and partially reaches the ground, known as direct solar radiation; The other part is the absorption, scattering, and reflection of atmospheric molecules, dust, water vapor, and other substances in the atmosphere. Part of the scattered solar radiation returns to space, while another part reaches the ground, and the part that reaches the ground becomes scattered solar radiation.
The GD51-KZFS total radiation sensor is used to measure the total solar radiation in the spectral range of 0.3-3 μ m. If the sensing surface is downward, it can measure reflected radiation, and if a shading ring is added, it can measure scattered radiation. Therefore, it can be widely used in departments such as solar energy utilization, meteorology, agriculture, aging of building materials, and air pollution to measure solar radiation energy.
GD51-KZFSTotal radiation sensor IoT transmitterStructural principle:
GD51-KZFS Total Radiation SensorusePrinciple of thermoelectric effect, inductioncomponentAdopting wire wound electroplating multi contact thermoelectric stack, surfacecontainA black coating with high absorption rate. The hot junction is located on the sensing surface, while the cold junction is located inside the body, generating a thermoelectric potential between the hot and cold junctions. Within a linear range, the output signal is directly proportional to the solar irradiance. To reduce the impact of temperature, a temperature compensation circuit is equipped. To prevent the influence of the environment on its performance, a two-layer quartz glass cover is used, which is precision optically cold processed and ground. The double-layer glass cover is designed to reduce the impact of air convection on the radiation meter. The inner cover is designed to cut off the infrared radiation of the outer cover itself.

Usage, Installation, and Maintenance
1. Total radiation is the most commonly used instrument for radiation observation by meteorological stations. The first thing to consider is the installation site conditions. The upper half of the glass dome should be unobstructed by obstacles, so that the radiation of the entire hemisphere comes from the sky. It is necessary to ensure that obstacles do not obstruct direct solar radiation. Therefore, there should be good observation conditions in the east and west of the instrument.
2. Reduce radiationsensorInstall horizontally on the observation platform, with the meter output plug facing north, adjust the level and fix it, and then connect the total meter output line to the recorder.
3. During rain and hail, observation should be stopped and protective covers should be fastened. To ensure accurate data, observers should regularly wipe the dust off the glass cover. If the desiccant silica gel particles change color, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
